Privacy Policy

What we collect, how we use it, and the rights available to you.

Last updated: September 20, 2026

Copper Communications (“Copper Communications,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through coppercommunications.com and coppertx.com (the “Site”), how we use and protect it, and the choices and rights available to you.

In short: this Site has no contact form, sets no cookies, and runs no analytics or advertising trackers. Every font, script, and image is served from our own server — nothing loads from Google, Facebook, or any other third-party network. We do not sell your personal information.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide to us. This Site does not have a contact form, so it collects nothing you type. If you contact us by phone or email, we receive whatever you choose to send — typically your name, business contact details, the site address, and details about the equipment or problem you want help with, including any photos or floor plans you attach.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our web server keeps standard access logs for every request: IP address, browser user-agent, the page requested, the referring page, and the date and time. These are ordinary server logs used for security and troubleshooting. We do not combine them into a persistent profile or use them for advertising.

Cookies and similar technologies. This Site sets no cookies at all — not for advertising, not for analytics, and not for sessions. There is no cookie banner because there is no non-essential tracking to ask consent for. If that ever changes, we will update this policy and add appropriate notice and choice first.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information above to:

  • Respond to your quotes, questions, and service requests;
  • Schedule, perform, and support the installation and maintenance work you ask us to do;
  • Order equipment and coordinate with vendors on your behalf;
  • Maintain accurate business, warranty, and billing records; and
  • Protect the security and integrity of our Site and our systems.

We do not use your information for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects, and we do not use it to serve you targeted advertising.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes. We share information only with:

  • StratoSwitch, our partner company for hosted voice services, where you ask us about or purchase VoIP or hosted PBX service, and only to the extent needed to quote, provision, and support it. See their privacy policy.
  • Carriers, hardware vendors, and subcontractors, where necessary to order equipment or to install, provision, or support the work you have engaged us for, and only to the extent needed for that purpose.
  • Law enforcement or other parties when required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Copper Communications, our customers, or others.
  • A successor entity, in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of business assets, subject to the same commitments described here.

4. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your enquiry, perform and warrant our work, comply with our legal and tax obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Job records and as-built cabling documentation are generally kept for the life of the installation, because they are what lets us service it later. Web server logs are kept only for a short operational period. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.

5. Data Security

This Site is served over HTTPS. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect your information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information. We aim to honor these rights for all visitors, regardless of location, to the extent they apply.

European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland (GDPR / UK GDPR). You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data; to restrict or object to our processing of it; to receive a copy in a portable format; and, where processing is based on consent, to withdraw that consent at any time. Our legal basis for processing enquiries is our legitimate interest in responding to you and, where you become a customer, performance of our contract with you. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.

California residents (CCPA / CPRA). You have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion or correction of it, and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law, so no opt-out is necessary. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.

Other U.S. states (Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and others with comprehensive privacy laws). These laws generally provide similar rights to access, correct, delete, and obtain a copy of your personal data, and to opt out of targeted advertising or profiling — neither of which we engage in.

All other visitors. Wherever you are located, you may contact us at any time to ask what information we hold about you, request a correction, or ask us to delete it, and we will make a good-faith effort to honor that request.

To exercise any of these rights, email sales@coppercommunications.com with the subject line “Privacy Request.” We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests.

7. International Visitors

Copper Communications is based in Cypress, TX, USA, and our services are offered to businesses in the greater Houston area. If you access this Site from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, which may have different data protection laws than your home country.

8. Children’s Privacy

This Site and our services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

9. Do Not Track

Because we do not track visitors across third-party sites or serve behavioral advertising, there is no cross-site tracking for a “Do Not Track” browser signal to disable.

10. Third-Party Links

This Site links to third-party websites, including our partner StratoSwitch and manufacturer or carrier partner sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies separately.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal or operational reasons. We will post the revised policy on this page with an updated “Last updated” date, and provide additional notice if we make material changes.
