Voice and data cabling
We run copper cabling for phones, computers, printers, cameras, and wireless access points. Most of our cabling jobs fall into one of three groups:
- New construction and finish-outs. We work from your floor plan and coordinate with the general contractor so cable goes in before the walls and ceilings close up.
- Expansions. Warehouse mezzanines, converted storage rooms, or the suite next door that was never wired. We match what's already in the building.
- Adds and moves. A few new drops for new desks, or relocating existing ones.
Fiber
Fiber backbones between floors, buildings, and equipment rooms, including risers and terminations.
Testing, labeling, and documentation
Every drop is tested and certified, and each jack and patch panel port is labeled. When the job is done you get the test results and as-built documentation, so the next person who works on it doesn't have to guess which cable goes where.
We also test existing cabling when you suspect it's causing slow or dropped connections.
Racks and equipment rooms
We build out new racks with patch panels and cable management, and we clean up equipment rooms where years of undocumented additions have piled up. That means tracing old runs, re-terminating them on panels, labeling, and documenting it all.
Common questions
Can you work around our general contractor's schedule?
Yes. On build-outs we plan the rough-in with the GC so cable is pulled before drywall and ceiling grid go in, then come back to terminate and test.
Our phone closet is a mess. Can you sort it out?
Yes. We trace every run, re-terminate on patch panels, label both ends, and give you documentation of what goes where.
